Just for everyones info. Perryton lost their tailback to a knee injury the last play of the first half Friday. It could make Thursday's game very interesting to say the least. This is the guy that replaced our starting tailback at the first of the year when he got injured. He had done a very good job as a replacement. In fact, Friday he had 66 yards on 11 carries when he went down. Perryton will have to dig down deep from here on out. I agree that we have probably been overrated all year, but we still were a very solid team, capable of beating just about anyone on a given night. That being said, we were also capable of losing on any given night too ie. Canadian and Canyon. Canyon has a good ball club too. Very quick and well coached...especially on defense.

So are you saying the Rangers are down to a 3rd string tailback?

Assuming Perryton can get by Muleshoe, next week should be a great game between Perryon and the winner of Snyder - Greenwood.

Yes, we are down to our third string tailback. I heard yesterday at church that our guy that got hurt Friday did tear an ACL and is suppose to have surgery this week. I am assuming they will bring up someone from the JV to fill his spot, but it still will change how we "game plan" our offense from here on out. It is going to be an uphill battle for us now, but injuries are part of the game.

SORRY TO HEAR THAT ABOUT YOUR RB. I THINK YOU GUYS WILL STILL BE PRETTY TOUGH WITHOUT YOUR RB. IT WILL BE A GOOD GAME. THE MULES ARE READY.

Red Ranger Fan,

How do you know it will effect the game planning? Are you part of the "game planning" committee? What if everyone thought our TB is hurt, and didn't respect the TB position? Could be a big gainer! Just curious as to how you know the "game plan"
