Gainesville vs. Graham playoff site/time set

Gainesville is in and will definitely go to the 3A Division I playoffs where they will face Graham on Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Denton ISD stadium. The other two playoff berths will go to either Bowie, Pilot Point or Sanger.

That's one nice stadium, KTJ. Should be able to hold all both teams can bring and then some. Should be a good game too. Purvey will be back for GVille.

I don't know how the process works, but I heard the only reason he played last week against Vernon was because of this "appeal", or something lilke that.

When was the end of the six weeks for Graham? If it's like most schools, it's today, which would make his time away from playing begin Monday, I believe.

My prediction is this game will be the closest game in the playoffs this year if you look at these teams there both evenly matched (unless the QB is out)

Yeah, with Condron out and now their starting QB, this game could get ugly. Their offense (veer) is very dependent on the QB making good decisions. It's an offense that takes time and repetition to run well. I know nothing about their backup, but if this is true, IP could win this one big.

But I'll believe he's out when I don't see him under center!
