Overview -- If Caldwell was to win their third title in six years it would add to the streak that either the Lady Hornets or Wimberley have won each of the previous five state titles in 3A. Bellville is a traditional power and Barbers Hill is tremendous. Region I Favorites: Monahans, Canyon and Sweetwater. Dark horse: Bowie, Lubbock Cooper and Graham. Region II Favorites: White Oak, Pleasant Grove and Bonham. Dark horse: Liberty-Eylau, Crandall and Chapel Hill. Region III Favorites: Heaven's to Betsy- Barbers Hill, Caldwell, Bellville and Silsbee. Dark horse: Hamshire Fannett, China Spring and Lorena. Region IV Favorites: Sweeny, Hallettsville and (you guessed it) Wimberley. Dark horse: LaVernia, Goliad and Needville.
