Rice's Brian Williams

I'd like to hear what the Rice people or anyone else who has seen him on here have to say about this kid. In Dave Campbell's Texas Football, your coach says he was the best 9th grader he's ever seen.

In the programs this year, I think he's listed at 6'1" 187 Sophomore. I read in last week's Tri-Country Banner Press that he is yall's 2nd string QB as well. What does he play on defense?

Brian is an outstanding player and an outstanding person, as well. He is our backup QB, running back, and plays defensive back. He is an all around player with great potential. He will be a leading force for the Raiders in the upcoming years.

That is pretty far into the playoffs. I don't like to speculate, but I would love to see a matchup.

he and the other kid, #2 i think, were very impressive...ran very tough and showed some speed...not as powerful and shifty as huffman, but then again is anyone else in the state...maybe 2
if i'm not mistaken...offensively, rice is a very young team...they only returned huffman and the starting qb...future is very bright

That was an exhausting game for both teams!! No matter which team won, I don't think they could have advanced any further. Emotionally and physically both teams were drained.

It looks like it'll be Rice Con. and Rockdale in the first round of the playoffs. Has anyone heard of a location? I'd personally like to see a large vinue like Kyle Field. Any rumors????

I'm sure nothing will be decided until after our game Friday. Too many things still up in the air. But, Kyle Field would be nice.
