Wilmer-Hutchins has a pretty good stadium. They have added animated eagle portraits on the walls of the buildings and their field now has a blue Philadelphia Eagle logo in the middle of the field with eagles in the end zone. I am not sure how it stacks up against schools around Texas but I think it is pretty good.

Texas Stadium - if you're 3A or below that means its most likely a Regional Final or better ... isnt that what its all about?

Just how close did you and PPHSfan "huddle up" there, Sinton, to stay warm?

And he DIDN'T make fun of me for forgetting to come prepared. Actually, I had plenty of stuff in the truck, just didn't think it was all that cold. Unfortunately, as soon as the sun dropped, the temperature did too, like a ROCK, I might add.

Sinton.....I had a lady save my life during a Superbowl in New Orleans (believe it or not it was really cold there), just like PPHSfan did for you. I was freezing to death and she gave me a big trash bag to put my legs into, and everything warmed up. I thanked her and introduced myself.......turns out it was Mrs. Hank Stram, the wife of the Saints coach. This was before they built the Superdome.

Astrodome is wonderful. I know the feeling from watching a playoff game there 4 yrs ago...good atmosphere...but that was for 4A. For a great 3A game, it would be nice. Go SINTON!

Yes...it's the new field for the Midland Lee Rebels and the Midland High Bulldogs.

I don't remember how much it cost - ALOT!!

It is turf, the only thing I don't like about it is the soccer stripes or circles, or whatever it is that soccer has....it confuses me!

It couldn't have been because yall played in Liberty last season, but you are probably thinking of Splendora. They have the pit in their field. It is ridiculous. We take extremely good care of our field.

Both teams are 5-A.

The only reason I have a link to that one is because I live there.

There's a $6.000,000 high school stadium in Round Rock that I heard about. I haven't seen it, but my son attended a McNeil game there. It has seats like a movie theater, cup holders and all, and instant replay. My son said it was awesome! Hard to believe it is a high school stadium.

The new Denton stadium cost 20mil. Gainesville and Graham will most likely play there in their 1st playoff game.

Caldwell played Bellville in Week 0 in Round Rock. Caldwell was on the visitors side, so I don't know about the home side seats, but the stadium is awesome. I really like having the replay and they played clips from movies different situations going on at the time and also some awesome graphics.

It will be a great stadium for some early round playoffs.
