I saw that on the news last night. Man, I'd love to be in some snow! (My husband laughed at me the other day when I told him a cool front was coming through.)

Well, if it snowed down here, they'd closed the town and roll the streets up lol. When I was a freshman in 1973, The day we came back from the Christmas holidays, it snowed several inches and we didnt' have school for a week.

Snow in the panhandle is not odd, and it is always windy.

Great picture above! I haven't seen snow since...probably back in 2000 when my family and I were coming back from California and it was snowing in the West Texas area...that was awesome...i heard it can snow in Natchitoches too! *Keeping fingers crossed*

If it sticks until Friday how will that effect the game between Canyon and Perryton?

Well, it shouldn't be around come Friday. Forecast calls for temps in the 50's after today. Right now we are just cold, cloudy, and windy. We haven't had any snow since early this morning. It looks like there is only about 2-3 inches on the ground now. Knowing our guys, they were hoping for a cold and wet night, but that doesn't look like it will happen. Although, I am a Perryton resident and fan, I feel like the Rangers have an uphill battle on their hands unless they play near perfect ball. This game means nothing except for pride and the disctrict championship. Win or lose, they know whom they will play. Canyon may have the horses to finally end Perryton's strangle hold on the distrct crown, plus I am sure they would love to get a pay back for the 50-7 humilation of last year. I personally feel like Canyon wants this more, and they will win it...probably by more than two touchdowns. I hope I am wrong, but I just don't have a very good feeling about it.

Those picts are not from the panhandle there were trees in them.
