This Week's Poll...

We have had much discussion over the past years about the Div I and Div II school system for 3A playoffs... Right, Wrong, or Indifferent, this is the system we will be subjected to for 2004... slpybear wants to know... Now that the playoff picture is shaping up... is the Div I representative from your district going to finish in first? or second or third....

I also welcome everyone to post on the thread and give the predicted order of finish... who the big school is, etc...

Last week we found out most folks have to drive at least 50 to 100 miles out of town to watch their district play. A sizable group (17 of 55) said they drove over 100 miles to watch their team...

Decatur is the DivI rep and will finish 1st in 7-3A.

Caldwell is the D1 school and hoping after fridays game against Rockdale we will be 2nd and they will be 3rd

Silsbee will finish in first, or tied for first in district 22-3a.

Bandera is the largest school in our district. They are still in the hunt for the 3rd place slot. In order to make the playoffs, they need to beat Brady by 14 & Wimberley must beat Llano.

Decatur is the Div 1 representative and is going to finish the season in1st place and will hopfully get it done in the playoffs.

Abilene Wylie is the D1 rep for 4-3A and I predict they will end up in a three way tie for first with Sweetwater and Snyder.

No... I didn't. At the end of the season there will be a DI rep and two DII reps from each district.

I am wanting to know where the DI rep comes in... 1, 2, or 3.

Correction....with Hutto beating Cameron last nite, Caldwell and Cameron are co-champs in District 19-3A.

Okay Slpy if I read your question right... Manor - the biggest school in our district - finished 6th place...

D 19
Cameron 6-1
Caldwell 6-1
Rockdale 5-2
Giddings 4-3
Hutto 4-3
Manor 3-4
La Grange 1-6
Smithville 0-7

Great season D 19 - now go get them in playoffs...
