On a side note, I always liked the idea of a comedian in the broadcaster's booth. I've actually fallen asleep to the commentary of Michaels and Madden. Woke up the next morning late for work. I'd prefer Dennis Miller to them any day of the week.

Russ, I gotta disagree with you. I couldnt stand Dennis Miller, he annoyed me. he knew nothing about the sport, and it was apparent by the way he tried to cover it up with REALLY bad jokes. I would take Pat Sumeral anyday of the week.

But for real, if Kevin Nealon knows anything about football they should put him up there with Al Michaels. He was by far the best "Weekend Update" host of all time. Miller can't touch him, and Jimmy and Tina can't lay a finger on 'ol Dennis.

LOL!! i cant STAND Madden....i have actually caught myself yelling at him (the tv) "quit drawing all over my screen and shut the hell up, i'm trying to watch the game!!" i too like the idea of a comedian in the booth as long as he has some sorta idea of whats goin on on the field.
