Mari and Brice are picking oranges. Mari has picked 2 boxes of oranges and is picking 5 boxes per hour. Brice has picked 5 boxes of oranges and is picking at 3 boxes per hour. In how many hours will they have picked the same number of boxes?

I have to make that into an equation then solve it. Anyone know how to do it?

2+(5t)=5+(3t)
2t=3
t=3/2=1.5 hours

5(24+t)=3(100+t)

t=90 or 1.5 hours

24 is the number of minutes that mari has already been picking, and 100 is the number that Brice has already been picking.

works DoctorDre's way too.

Yeah i used to help a bunch of people in high school cheat or just give the answers to them...but then i got tired of people getting credit for work i did. I just gave them wrong answers on purpose. Yay for being mean spirited...i didn't do that to my friends though; only the people i didn't like. I dont know why...hmm....
