Nice post Phil. I would figure more people would be like you and WANT to see us win this one. I for one have an extreme dislike for OU. I wanna see us beat them, not only for the fact that Im an Aggie, but the fact that they take our kids and beat us with them.

I believe OU would have to lose 2; losing only 1 still puts them ahead of UT.

C'mon Guys.....A&M BARELY beat a Colorado team which they shouldve handled easily......and then get OUT PLAYED by Baylor......i really dont see them beating anyone else this year....i mean they dont match up well w/ Tech....OU ....or Texas.....i dunno though..maybe im just dumb....but ive seen em play the past 2 games...and uhh...they need to take those shirts off the racks that say "Reggie for Heisman" haha...thats a good joke......OU BIG in this one.......yall can forget about ESPN College Game Day comin to a town that lost to BAYLOR!

Ummm....ok. Its hard to have a QB rating over 110 for 7 straight games no matter who you play. Hes an electrifying player to watch and he is still a contender for it. I think Next year is hiw year. He is still improving every game and will explode (even more than he has now) next year.

All I know is, CHS, you better be rooting for us if you want the Longhorns to even have a shot at a Big XII Championship game. All that stands in OU's way is us, Nebraska, and Baylor. Baylor could prove to be tough, they pulled an upset once, why not again?????:D

dont get me wrong, I'll be rooting for a&m all the way, but I dont see it happenin. I see this past weekend as the screw that comes loose like on the jamaican bobsled and its all downhill from here. The so called "wrecking crew" wont be able to withstand Adrian Peterson's running and Jason White's passing. OU by at least 21.

Baylor was a fluke, A&M held Morency to 111 yards when he was the #1 rusher in the nation, why couldn't they hold Peterson who is #3??? But how many TD's does Peterson have? He piles up yards like nobody's business, but you don't see him in the red zone, anybody ever wonder why?? OSU went wide left with a few seconds left and they would have tied the game, A&M beat OSU, why couldn't they take OU? They lost to Baylor because they were looking ahead to OU, it was a trap game. If they win out, BIG XII title is theirs, but this might be the toughest last 3 games anybody in the nation has on their schedule. Take it one game at a time.

As much as I don't like OU, I have to think that they come in to Kyle Field on Saturday and take care of business as usual. I know the Aggies were probably looking past Baylor last week, but A&M isn't as good of a football team as people have making them out to be. In fact, I don't know if they'll win another game this year. OU, Tech, and Texas on the road has to be on of, if not the toughest schedules left for anyone in the country.

I don't know if the Ags can respond after their poor showing against the Cubs, oops, I mean Bears from Baylor. A&M will be looking to avenge last year's embarrasing performance in Norman, but I don't think they have enough firepower to take on the Sooners and win. The Wrecking Crew looked more like the wreeking crew against Baylor, and let's be honest, Baylor doesn't have anyone the likes of Adrian Peterson, Jason White, or Mark Clayton. I would love to see the Ags pull it off, but I just don't see it happening. OU 38 A&M 13

Some notes on the game that i managed to scruffle around and find...

Now to some of my non-technical notes (I don't do X&Os)....

* Peterson ran to the left side for the entire 1st quarter

* Peterson's first run of the 2nd quarter was to the right

* Don't forget about Kejuan Jones....he's still dangerous

* We can't let A.D. get outside....have to hit him before his 3rd step with the ball

* MUST WIN TURNOVER BATTLE

* OU Special Teams: v. KU....botched punt, had FG blocked, had XPT blocked
v. OSU....fumbled punt return, returned punt for TD, fumbled punt attempt for TD

* Byron Jones and Erik Mayes (and rest of DBs) have to protect from the big play from Jason White.....they can't get turned around out there

* Jason White has had 11 TD passes in the last 3 games

* Played in front of 48K fans at OkState....12th Man needs to come out strong, and long. Bring 12th Man towels to maximize confusion on the field

* We need our video staff to keep the crowd pumped up on defense through the whole game by playing their Wrecking Crew Highlight video (with Metallica music) multiple times throughout the game

* White has taken 0 (zero) snaps at Kyle Field

* We need C-Lew to come out strong so we can establish the deep pass and the option game

* OSU didn't pass rush very much....White is too good to just let him sit there and look around before throwing

* OU likes to lineup 3 WRs on one side and have the inside WR drop back and catch a short pass with the 2 outer WRs block....plays like this have been costly for the Ags in previous games

* OU had trouble with Donovan Woods in the 4th Q....Reggie is a much better passer

We all saw what revenge for a big loss can look like one year later. I can assure you that OU knows that this is going to be a tough game but they have no idea how much our players and our fans want this one.

Ags, we're sitting in the underdog's role once again and I think we can all agree that we've really thrived in that role so far in 2004.

Yeah I see a shootout until the end. I don't expect to see a great deal of defense tommorow. Both are very powerful, high-octane offenses that can hurt a team. Should be a fun one. Glad I'll be in the stands.
