I am not Rangermom, but maybe I can help. There was a thread somewhere discussing all the wild possibilities around here somewhere. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Stockton and Seminole are in. The winner between Greenwood and Monahans is the other team. If Greenwood wins, they are the number one seed since they beat Seminole. If Monahans wins, Seminole is the number one seed.

I think it will be Sweetwater VS. Seminole, and Greenwood VS. Snyder. That is assuming that Sweetwater and Greenwood both win.

Stockton is the big school of the district.

So if Greenwood wins they play Snyder & Sweetwater gets Seminole. If Monahans wins they get Sweetwater and Seminole gets Snyder right. Fort Stockton gets Wylie

I think thats correct Buffalo. Seminole would be 4-1, and Monahans would be 3-2. A Snyder - Greenwood rematch might be a pretty good one. Of course all of this is assuming that Sweetwater wins Friday night.

if greenwood wins against monahans then they win the district title out right because greenwood lost to ft stockton by i believe 7 but beat seminole by 21 and ft stockton lost to seminole by once again i believe 7.

i was told that it would just be a 3 way tie, there would be no outright champ because they dont go to points

stockton beat greenwood by 13
greenwood beat seminole by 21( but +- 14 is the max)
seminole beat stockton by 7
so:
stockton is +6
greenwood is +7
seminole is -7

BUT ALL THIS IS MUTE POINT BECAUSE TIE BREAKER(POWERPOINTS) ARE FOR DETERMINING PLAYOFFS SEEDS AND NOT DISTRICT TITLES.

Seminole is not necessarily in, though everything would have to happen just right for them to be left out. Here's how:

Seminole has to lose to Lamesa and Monahans has to beat Greenwood 14 or more. In this case, all three end up 3-2 and tie in the points system since in all head to head competition between these teams the winner won by 14 or more. It then would be decided by coin toss. Seminole could be odd man out on the coin toss.

Very unlikely, but possible. Kind of makes your head spin don't it? I know Seminole players are being told what Greenwood players are being told. "Win and then you don't have to worry about what happens to the others."
