If I can go I am going to go Wednesday because you get to see all 8 teams play and the other games will be televised on FSSW tv. :) Anyone going to be there besides PPHS! Can you make it KTJ? 66 you want to take a day off work if you can and go with me to spend all day in San Antonio watching great college women soccer. Go Lady Horns!

Phil, if I didn't have other things going on and had a little extra money I'd try to make it down there. You and I are probably the only two soccer fans on this site.

Both of you must thoroughly enjoy being bored out of your skulls. Hard as I might try, I just can't want to go.:D

Hey 66, I enjoy the "skill" involved in women's soccer...

Go ahead, click here.... Texas A&M Soccer (http://www.aggieathletics.com/roster.php?SID=WSO&YOS=2004)
Click on any of those pictures... Except for #13, don't click on her... Nine out of ten hot chicks prefer soccer to hoops. It's a proven fact.

There's nothing wrong with being a man living in today's world who admits to loving women's soccer.

It's when you admit to loving men's soccer that it gets bad.... and my favorite teams are Liverpool, the Dallas Burn and (internationally, besides the US) Holland. My favorite players are Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Eric Wynalda. Have you regurgitated yet, 66?:D :D :D

If the women played in get-ups like that, I might come watch. PPHSfan would too if there was some mud involved!:D :D :D ~sinton66

Hey Phil, do you know who the Aggies play first? I hope it isn't Kansas.

sahen

does baylor play anyone? i dont even know if we made it into the tourney or not this year...

Phil C

The Lady Aggies play Oklahoma State Wednesday at 5 P.M. The Lady Horns play Nebraska at 1:30 P.M. The Lady Aggies won't have to play Kansas until the final championship game on Sunday if both teams get that far because the Lady Aggies are second seed in the tournament and Kansas is first seed.

Phil C

The schedule is as follows:

On Wednesday:

1. Kansas vs Iowa State at 11:00 A.M.

2. Texas vs Nebraska at 1:30 P.M.

3. Texas A&M vs Oklahoma State at 5:00 P.M.

4. Colorado vs Missouri at 7:30 P.M.

The seeds in order are Kansas, Texas A&M, Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Iowa State.

On Friday:

Winner of 1 vs Winner of 2 at 5:00 P.M.

Winner of 3 vs Winner of 4 at 7:30 P.M.

On Sunday at 1:00 P.M.

Friday's winners play the championship game.

The winner gets an automatic invite to the NCAA playoffs. Others have to wait but some of them probably will too.

The weather in San Antonio looks like it will be cold so take some warm clothes.

Sorry sahen but Baylor didn't make it in to the tournament this year. Every team plays each other once during the season and they get three points for each win and one point for each tie.

Isn't it great that a thread got to two pages already. Of course this is a very important event.

Last year when Texas played only 778 fans were in the stands. What's going on there?!

Keith7

They should be a happy.. when Gainesville plays there are about 20 fans in the stands.. most are parents

Hey, Gainesville did make the 4A playoffs in soccer last year and almost made it to Regionals.

Phil, I won't be there. I have two tests to study for this week. And also, I'm not a big soccer fan.

Bulldog_12
11-01-2004, 03:18 PM
I would go if I didn't have class this week. Im actually kind of mad that there are no more home soccer games.

Phil C
11-01-2004, 03:32 PM
No problem KTH and Bulldog! I would have liked to have been able to meet both of you there but I can understand because I was a college student myself once. Too bad both schools couldn't have given the students off Wednesday through Saturday so more of them could go. I hope both schools can win on Wednesday.

Phil C
11-01-2004, 03:35 PM
Hey Bull next year College Station is hosting the NCAA final four matches. It would be great although maybe impossible for both schools to be there.

Bulldog_12
11-01-2004, 03:49 PM
That would be great. I will probably try to find a way to go watch the games next year. Especially since it will be right next door.

Phil C
11-01-2004, 05:05 PM
I hope you can too Bulldog! The only concern I have in your case and the other students there is the fact that it may be close to finals. :(

Bulldog_12
11-01-2004, 06:29 PM
Hmmm, the way I figure I can do that is, everyone needs a break every once in a while. Cant study 24/7 :D

I agree Bulldog. Two of the games are on Friday and the two winners play Sunday.

I think the games is at the Blossom Soccer field. Does anyone in San Antonio know the capacity of that stadium?

Hey Big Daddy I don't compare women as to appearances but since I went to the game in San Antonio and saw the Aggies play I can tell you that the picture of No. 13 is just a bad picture because she is much prettier in person. And not only that she plays great soccer. Of course I admit I am the guy that says there is no such thing as an ugly woman - just that some are more prettier than others.

They got a wonderful stadium with adequate seating and the concession stand food is good and reasonable. The parking is good and they let you go in and out of the stadium as you please as long as you keep your tickets.
