This is between the Horns and Aggies. The Horns outdid the Aggies in Men's Cross Country which was a minor surprise and earned their first points of the competition. The Lady Aggies outdid the Lady Horns for the other point in Women's Cross Country. This puts the score now at:
Texas A&M 2.5 Texas 1.0
To win the Aggies need 7.5 points and the Horns 9.0 points.
This early lead by the Aggies was expected. In fact I thought it would be 3 to 0.5 at this point so Texas is doing better than expected and we haven't got to Texas' strong sports yet. We will see.
