Silsbee vs. Jasper finally meet this week

Silsbee 8-0 (4-0) proved again last night against Kirbyville that the veer can't be stoped beating them 41-13. We are all ready co- distrist champs which we haven't been district champs since 1977 , but this week we face jasper to be the district champs if we win. Thoughts?

So what was the final score for Jasper and Shepard. There are two posts here, one said 36-0. the other said 36-6. I just wanna know which one it was. Should be a good game this Friday. I think the Dogs will be ready come Friday. Now we have seen that they can run AND throw which should make them just that much tougher. Sic'em DAWGS!

This will be a good one! I'll be a homer and say Dawgs by 12. It sounds like Jasper's passing game is starting to mature some. Couldn't be happening at a better time.

Didn't you pretty much say the same thing last week about Shepherd.

Maybe it's just me, but i think you might have something against Jasper, I think someone pointed this out before. This is pure speculation.....if it's true....i don't care. If it's not...i don't care either. I don't want to start anything, but i just thought i'd bring it up. Because i think you've had us to lose in the last 4 games.

Anyway, it doesn't really matter. We'll show up friday focused just like we did last friday and we'll see what happens. We made it to the playoffs, but that doesn't mean we are gonna slack off any. We won't "coast". Practice is going to be tough this week but we are ready and we can only get better. Shepherd had the #2 defense,giving up the fewest points in the district. That obviously didn't work for them. But they did have heart, they were fired up for the second half as i saw them come back out. They were ready to play like the score was 0-0.

But good luck to everyone in the district this coming week. Lets all pray that no one gets hurt in our district (and everyone else that plays on friday nights for that matter). And lets have a good week.

I think the AIR game certainly may have been the difference against Shepherd. But running didn't hurt either. :)

I'll have to disagree on that one. WO-S or PNG would have to be the hardest game. As for Kirbyville....dont get me started on that....yeah....they beat us...but it doesnt help when.....you know what....i better keep my mouth shut on that one....that info doesnt need to get out. Anyways....we had a brutal pre-season.....and we did amazing i think. Not trying to take away from silsbee....but....yeah.

I'll say it for you, Jaspers loss to K'ville was a fluke. I knew Silsbee would dispatch them. Jasper was missing key personell that are vital to their team. I said the Monday after K'ville won that game that there would be a 3 way tie for first in that district. Friday, Jasper will make that prediction a reality. No disrespect to K'ville or Silsbee, it's just the way I see it.

WOS1, there was more to it than a fluke, pm me about it, i'll tell you about it. But your my new best friend cause you believe in us, BTW when we played yall, it was a helluva game, you gave me a really big scare there at the end.

Lilt...umm....your taking this K'ville loss all wrong...the loss did good...see...we are focused....i can see it in my teammates eyes. We are out for blood.....we wont be over confident and we will not fail in our quest.
