It was a good game overall. This was a much better game than the Freshman and JV games as far as the refs went. (Yes, Wharton Freshman and JV both won, but they were really messy games by the refs) Still some questions about some calls. I still haven't figured out how a player can be hit of bounds, practically driven into the ground, and not get a call for it.

Way to go Tigers! On to Palacios next week. It's looking like on into the playoffs after that.

i agree, it was a good game- i also didnt agree with that hit but it seemed to pump the tigers (and the fans) up even more! Way to go tigers-- Next on our list: Palacios! Go get 'em tigers! :)

wharton and palacios bot picked a fight with columbia, so if my calculations are correct, there should be a good fight in this one...lol

as for the game...its gonna be over in the 1st quarter

The only thing in common in the two fights was Columbia. But of course you guys say that Wharton and Palacios started them

Neither Wharton nor Palacios have been in any other fights this year.

neither has columbia, watch the films, its clear to see who picked the fights

another thing in common with both the fights was that Columbia was beating the dog poo out of both of them when the fights occured

I would not say that Columbia was kicking the dawg out of Wharton. They got a LOT! of help from the refs. I even heard one of the refs was from Columbia. Columbia got had about 15 plays to score in side the 10 thanks to the refs. There were clearly No pass inter.

i agree cap.....but the past is in the past and whats done is done--we would have loved to win that one but we are looking ahead and gearing up for the playoffs!

whs should do pretty well in the playoffs.
Reg IV D2 looks to be pretty- uh, how do I say without hurting someones feelings....uhhh-well D2 looks ummmm, well, easy. Wharton should kill yaokum or halletsville just by athletes alone.

Shut Up! You're talking nothing but nonsense about both of these teams and nobody wants to hear it. Logic would tell us since you are saying two different teams picked a fight with your one team, then your one team seemingly has issues...not knowing when to shut their traps...example...neck_06 bringing all this up in the first place.

ALL of us are not crying! Watch the film of the game and let it speak for itself. I bet you had plenty of complaints about refs last year when you guys were 1-9. Oh no, I forgot, ya'll are better than that!

actually, no.

we were not very good.

But this is worth noting.....
2003 1win 9 losses
2004 8 wins 1 loss

same kids, same coaches....
and same kids, same coaches will be back next year.
(except 6 seniors)

2003 - 4a
2004 - 3a

Thank goodness for realignment, huh!

yeah, 3a is a better fit for us. You know we only missed it last time by 9 students. So we were very close to being in our 3rd year of 3a instead of our 1st.

are yall playing there no matter who gets in from the other district.

I mean, yoakum/luling have both agreed?

I guess they should, it is right in their own back yard.
