This was an exciting game that showed the heart of the Leopards who nearly pulled it out in OT. The Leps trailed 16-8 with 3 minutes to go and drove the ball from their 35 down to the Mustang 9 with 2 seconds left and 4th down. On a great screen pass they scored. Then the soph Qb Woods ran it in for 2 to tie the game and force OT. The Leps had the ball first in OT and were driving on the ground to the 13 yardline when Woods got stripped of the ball going around the corner on a sweep. The 'Stangs recovered and on the ensuing drive scored on a great pass to their All State WR Swain to win the game. Tough one to lose Leps but you showed a lot of folks what you are made of and we are proud. Go on to win big against Smithville and come back in a season to establish winning ways again.:)
