Well Stockton is D1, no matter what. If its Seminole and Monahans in the playoffs, Seminole will be the number one seed. If Its Seminole and Greenwood, I guess Greenwood will be the number one seed since they have a head to head win over the Indians???

Leaves things still up in the air. A Seminole loss and the only thing that could have kept Greenwood out of the playoffs next week would be losing a coin toss in the last tie breaker.

Ft. Stockton plays Pecos and Seminole plays Lamesa. Both will be favored to win. If they do the winner of the Greenwood/Monahans game is in and the loser is out!

Isn't that puzzling? Before they played us, they had only scored 20 points in the first 5 games. We won 21-0 and I thought we looked sluggish that game. Seminole played hard but seemed short of talent. They certainly are smaller than any team we've played except for 2A Ballinger. But they sure have turned it around!

If it ends Ft. Stockton 4-1, Greenwood 4-1, & Seminole 4-1 then Ft. Stockton goes D1, Greenwood is #1 seed in D2 and Seminole is #2 seed. Does that mean Greenwood gets Sweetwater or is that still up in the air?

I am not 100% sure how the tie breaker works. Obviously we have to beat Merkel. The only thing I had heard was that if Snyder won by 5 over Wylie (and Sweetwater wins over Merkel) that Snyder would be the number one seed. But Snyder only won by 4, so I am assuming we will be number one (again assuming that we beat Merkel). So that would put us against your second seed, and Snyder against your first.

I'm pretty sure that if there are more than one who finish at 4-1 next week, they all get a gold football for the trophy case that says "Co-District Champions." No tie breakers come into play.

if monahans wins then they get third place and go to the playoffs and the #2 seed. then seminole and stockton are district champs unless seminole is outright with the head to head. monahans and greenwood would be 3-2 and monahans goes to the playoffs with the head to head i believe. the game this week has some added fire to it, not that it needed it and now this rivalry will be a lot more intense

As far as the trophy goes, it is a co-championship, unless they have changed something recently, like in the last two years. Tie breakers such as head to head, point system, and coin toss come into play only when determining playoff seeding.

here i am beeatch... well what can i say, seminole played a great game. that hill running back is astrong runner, but the best running back in my opinion is brooks from greenwood. man, it was a good one that got a little dirty. 2 ejections and atleast 4 personal fouls. alot of eye gouging going on by seminole, sent 2 kids to get their eyes looked at from stockton and the seminole player that got kicked out was thrown out for kicking the nuts! man it was crazy! seminole played good and came through, good game. and no, they did not shut down jefferson, it's not hard to shut someone down with a injury. he played on 1 leg and still threw for 3 td's and over 200 yards, on 1 leg. man he battled but what can u say, good job seminole..

seminole is dirty like that they always have been my freshmen year a guy gouged my eyes so bad i thought i was blind i had to be lead off the field by 2 teammates now i have to wear contacts and my vision went from 20/20 to 20/50 in both eyes
