With half the starters out hurt or with the flu, BC comes out and gains 361 yards! The JV had to step up to cover a lot of spots! They finally let Johnny Dishon loose at QB in the later part of the ballgame. J. Dishon went for 174 yards on 17 carries and FOUR TDs. The Sophomore has been denied the starting position throughout the year but tonight he proved that he is solid playoff material. With H-J whipping Anahuac, that probably puts H-F in behind BC as the third team in the playoffs.
I see Silsbee beat Kirbyville tonight: they will be a good Division I participant this year.
Again a wounded BC dug real deep in the lineup and the JV and previous benchwarmers came through for a significant playoff 2nd place position in their District.

Wow, BC had a great 2nd half! Congrats!

OC: You meant Silsbee over K-ville. Hopefully we'll get another crack at 'em in a few weeks! :D

What an effort! I had heard the half time score, and was shocked when I heard the final.

What is the predictions for next week's match up?

It was a nail biter at times. We had 3 Seniors starting Lineman sidelined with the flu. They were all on the sidelines cheering the others on last night. Dishon reminds me alot of Jamey Knight. He should be awesome next year. Kudos go out to the whole team for pulling together and believing in themselves. Now, let's Give WO-S the best game they've had all season!!

Congratulations on the win, but more importantly, congratulations on earning a playoff spot! We'll see you next week. Two playoff bound teams going at it in week 10 -- it should be a good one! :)

Who did BC play?

They played H-F which has a very good team. The winner of the H-F vs H-J will take the third spot of the District. BC will play the loser of the Barbers Hill vs Liberty game in bi-district and our third team(2nd team in Division II, H-J vs H-F) will play the winner of that contest.

I was sure hoping for Bridge City, Orangefield and West Orange Stark would take the 3 play off spots. 3 teams from Orange County going to the playoffs would sure be exciting.

Yep, 2 out of 3 ain't bad, but I gotta give OF credit--they have alot of heart. And here I thought that our main rivalries would be Orange County teams...boy, do I seemt o be WRONG!!!
