Is everything bigger in Texas??

I just heard on Good Morning America that the average height of a man in in America is 5'9" and a female is 5'4".

So....I was wondering, are you above, below or about average??

At 5'7", I am above average!

Yeah my mom is almost 6' and my brother is 6'4 and dad is 6'2.......my daughters are mad at me cuz they are only 5'7 and 5'8........ :D

Well that puts me just right around the average height...but then again, most Asians are short in stature. I'm 5' 9". I know my parents are much shorter than the average. I think my brother is just as tall as I am.

She has been 5'2" since she was in 8th grade.....she has actually dropped from 108 lbs at the end of 8th grade to 95 lbs now.

I'm 5'11" my two brother 5'11" and 6' 1 my sister is 5'9 the youngest is 5'3, My oldest son is 5'9 my youngest son is 6'2
my oldest girl is 5'5. the twins are 3'3 but they are only 3 years old.

I think they are probably fairly accurate results.

Out of me, my husband and our 5 kids.

One is below average.

Two are about average

Four are above average

And you are still completely sane. Incredible and I struggle with 3. Of course, I always have spares at my house.
