View Full Version : R.I.P. 3ADL Statebound T-Shirt

Ranger Mom

Just checked the mail -- you guessed it -- NO T-SHIRT!!

Today was the last possible day it could come in and still be overnighted to Fury600 for Friday's game!

It was a great idea, but this will be 3 games in a row that it has missed....which kind of defeats the whole concept of it. So. I guess we can stick it in the fun memories file and try again next year!

Maybe next time only send it UPS, so that it will have a tracking number. US Post Office doesn't seem to like to keep up with where its packages are...

Maybe it was mailed and maybe it wasn't...there is NO WAY you can know for sure Jason!! But your profound faith in the fact that it was sent is commendable....and kinda pathetic at the same time!!:p

Maybe it's lost in the mail....or maybe I really DID get it and decided to keep it for myself!!

We have no clue what happened, but if the person who was supposed to/did/meant to-whatever...would get on here and tell us so herself...maybe so many people wouldn't be quite so suspicious!!

This really makes me sick... I feel like I was the shirts step father (since Jason would have to be the father). We spent 3 wonderful weeks together since I had it the first week. Man, what a loss!!! I just can't take it... the grief is over powering!!:hand: :hand:

Knowing teenage girls (and don't even try... I have two of them), the shirt is in a wad in her back seat or under her bed. You can take it to the bank...;) ;) ;) ;)

you know what sucks.. when one of those mailboxes jumps out in front you, you knock it down and drive off thinking you got away scott free - UNTIL you get a call from the Sheriff Dept and they found your front license plate underneath the smashed mailbox.. hhmm wonder if anyone I raised can relate to that one.. (we laugh now but it was NOT funny then)

Poem to The Shirt....

It all started as an idea, from jason's big head,
now we mourn over the memories of the shirt that is dead.
It brought us posters together, one game after another,
but it will see no more 3A football, now and forever.
It never did anything to anybody, just sat and never whined
while it was being passed around, while all of us signed.
If there is a heaven for shirts we know where it will be,
flying w/ the clothing of the sky.....finally....set.....free:(
