WHARTON VS YOAKUM

BD62 What does yoakum have this year.They always scrimage wharton real tough.What has lots of speed 7 players with 4.5 speed or better,also have lots of size.You will see wharton passing the ball a lot trying to get a mismatch on the lb-db,also run the ball with 2 backs with 4.3 speed.

q.b. boone want be there due to babe ruth world series.be back next week. back up is junior and will normally play w.r.
yoakum has 5 all dist. back and they are pretty good. harrison at r.b. had close to 1000 yds. last year. cedric johnson at t. e. and l.b. is probably best player.2 yr. all dist. both ways. ward was all dist. center and has been moved to f.b.. he not big but very quick and strong.boening was all dist. l.b.
looks like o.l. is very small and that looks like weakness now.secondary is young and looks like they will get tested which is good.
we have had good scrimmage with wharton the last 2 yrs. no doubt has helped both teams.
looks like we will have our hands full with that kind of speed.

wharton looked very good today. defense was very solid and offense had had good running game but the passing game was a little shaky.

wharton looks like they will be a very good team. there speed is impressive. harrison from yoakum looked good running the ball. and the back up q.b. did a very good job running and passing. (boone back next week .they won the babe ruth world series)
the biggest thing i saw was we got beat on both sides of the line so we have got a lot of work to do there. good luck to wharton this year. they look like to force to reckon with.
