Heres the new Question of the day:

What do you do if you are the coach, and have a great team with loads of talent, sans one kid: Your Son. Do you play him to ease things with him, or do you just bench him because you see his talents isnt the greatest. Ive been wondering for a while. . . I know you have to look out for the best interets of the team. So take your pic: No shred of talent and argue at home, or play him and keep one talented kid off the field.

You gotta go with the talent. Im sure your son would agree that he would rather see the team win than to get PT and they lose. Unless of course you have a selfish son, then you just beat his butt.:D Or, if your team is that good, rack up huge numbers in the first two or three quarters, then put him in for a few plays.

Then you better sit down and be honest with him, or else there could be problems. But most kids KNOW that they have no talent, they just don't like to admit it. Sometimes ya gotta force the point into 'em.
