this is weekend we get to move our clocks and watches BACK one hour because Daylight Savings' Time ends for the year. I think officially it is on Sunday morning at 2:00 A.M. you move them back to 1:00 A.M.

You have to set your alarm for 2:00am, get up and stumble around the house half asleep changing all the clocks not to mention putting on some pants and going outside to do the vehicles. I just hate it.

But if you do that you will not have the correct time! Remember if you go to bed at midnight and set it back to 11:00 P.M. you will not have the correct time and your watches and clocks will be incorrect until 2:00 A.M. Alas for want of the correct time!

so back to my original question, does this mean that once it hits 2am, that the clock goes back to 1, and i have another hour to drink and party in the club?

Yep, you got it (an extra hour). Remember, Spring forward, Fall back.:)
