is on tonight at 7:00 P.M. It is critical for the Cardinals to win tonight even more so than for Boston. Regardless Boston has the home field advantage now. If Boston wins just one of the three games in St. Louise they will have a big advantage going back to Boston. If they lose three straight in St. Louise they still have the advantage of the home field afterward. We will see what happens. But if Boston wins too night they will have a big advantage over St. Louise though not an insurmountable one.

I wouldn't count St. Louis out yet. They are very tough at home and Boston always has to think about what happened the last time they were in the Series with a 2-0 advantage against The Mets. The curse is not broken until they win it all. Remember the Buckner incident. All Boston needed was 2 more outs. St Louis is undefeated at home in the playoffs and the forcast is for rain tonight.

Is the field wet? Is there a chance of rain?

It rained earlier today in St. Louis, but as game time was coming the skies opened up, middle of the 2nd score still 1-0, Pedro was in a base-loaded jam at the bottom of the first but Manny caught a pop up and threw out Larry Walker at home plate

I thought that St. Louis had a strong bunch of hitters in their line-up, but them Sox hitters aren't to shabby. They all can hit the ball--very impressed!!! See what happens in bot. of 5th.--should be all for Suppan!!!
