Lake Dallas currently sits at 7-1 and 4-1 in Dist 9-4A, they have a big game in Week 10 with 5A drop down McKinney who is 6-2 and 4-1 in 9-4A also, that game will be for 2nd place in 9-4A....Lake Dallas looks to have a bi-district matchup with probable 10-4A champion Dallas Lincoln....
Forney is 2-6 overall and 1-2 in 11-4A....the Jackrabbits played a brutal non-district slate and their district isn't any easier....if they win their next 2 games they still have an outside shot at the playoffs however they are playing 6-2 West Mesquite who currently sits 4th in the district and then in Week 10 play State Top 10 Highland Park...
Paris North Lamar may be the surprise team in all of East Texas this year...as they are 7-1 and 2-1 in 12-4A....PNL will clinch a playoff spot with a win over arch-rival Paris this week....PNL likley will finish 3rd in 12-4A behind Texarkana Texas High and Sulphur Springs..however PNL will have a very tough bi-district game against Top 20 team Wylie....
Dallas Pinkston is currently 4-4 on the year and 2-1 in 13-4A...they have a big game with 1-2 Seagoville this week, if the Vikings can pull the upset they likley will make the playoffs and play Corsicana in bi-district...however if they fall to the Dragons of Seagoville it looks like they'll miss the playoffs as they have a very good South Oak Cliff team in Week 10 SOC is 7-1 this year.....
Everman is on the verge of breaking into the Top 20 in many polls...the Bulldogs have one of the best defenses in DFW regardless of class...EHS is 6-1 and 3-0 in 15-4A play...the only loss for Everman was a 9-0 slugfest against state Top 10 Stephenville in Stephenville....EHS takes on Waxahachie this week for the 15-4A crown....Everman could make some noise in 4A Div 2 Reg 2 but they have a tough bi-district opponent in Waco University more than likley
Elgin is in 26-4A and 3-5 on the year and 1-2 in 26-4A....it doesn't look like they'll make the postseason as they have 2 really tough games left in Lockhart and Pflugerville Connally, Connally leads that district at 3-0...
Burnet is in 27-4A and the Bulldogs are 6-2 right now and 2-1 in district play...they are currently in a literal dog fight for the playoffs as 27-4A has a 4 way tie for first with Lake Travis, Burnet, New Braunfels Canyon and Dripping Springs all at 2-1...Burnet if they win their last 2 games against Lake Travis and 0-3 Marble Falls makes the playoffs...however a loss to Lake Travis could put the Bulldogs in a bind....possible playoff opponent is either Kerrville Tivy or Alamo Heights....
