Cuero 3A div.I state champs
Yorktown 2A div.I state champs
Shiner 1A state champs

but thats just my thoughts

all with in 20 miles of each othere now if you could get Victoria any good we could rule the world

How about

Jasper 3a D1
Newton 2a D1 or D2
Burkville 1a

All with in 15 miles of each other.

Other schools that are close and doing good
Kirbyville - with in the same 15 miles

West Orange Stark - about 50 miles south

3a Div 1 - Caldwell
3a Div 2 - Cameron

shiner has the best chance of winning 1a... yorktown is looking awesome this year so they have a legitimate chance... cuero does too.... they just need to step up their play... surprisingly they looked their best during the scrimmages and first two games of the season... victoria memorial will never win a state championship...

I agree that Shiner has a good chance if Windthorst does not finish strong.

I would have to give Celina the edge in 2A regardless of which division they play.

I think if Decatur stays healthy they have the best shot in D1 3A. D2 is still wide open.

How about:

Decatur 3A DI
Holliday 2A
Windthorst 1A

All within 50 miles of each other.


BTW Holliday and Windthorst both won the Lone Star Cup in their respective divisions last year.

Cuero would not be a stretch
Yorktown, i can only hope..i like seeing them do well..and they ARE good...
Shiner...thats almost a given..arent they in the hunt just about every year?
Div II 3A..thats tough....theres no TELLING who will win THAT one.
