Region IV Games of the WEEK

there are a couple of pretty darn good matchups this week in Region IV ball 3A, 2A and 1A

3A games of interest:

Sinton at Ingleside
Goliad at Mathis
Zapata at West Oso

2A games of interest:

Refugio at Yorktown (i bet this one is a GREAT one!!)
Rivera at Premont

1A games of interest:
Utopia at Shiner (another one to talk about!)

now for my picks:

*Ingleside upsets Sinton in a nail-biter (have to go w/ the home team)
*Goliad over Mathis by 17
*Zapata over W.O. by 21
*Yorktown over Refugio by 14
*Rivera over Premont by 12
*Shiner over Utopia by 19

Zapata at West Oso could be an epic classical game. Zapata is a very good team and the Howling Bear is awake and playing with vengence now. Games like that make you want to head for the cellar.

Games like that make you want to head for the cellar. ya know Phil....i have been wondering the same about West Oso....it SEEMS the sleeping bear is now wide awake.....i agree w/ you...if Oso shows up w/ their recently renewed spirit and determination.....this could be a shocker.....but i'm still leaning towards Zapata kickin em around a little bit.

I really don't think LH Wimberley game will be that good of a game, I could be wrong but I doubt it.
