On behalf of all the Bellville fans, I express my deepest sympathies to the family of this young man, his coaches, teammates, and friends, and the entire town of Marlin. I can't imagine what y'all must be going through, especially at this time of year.

Just a short time ago we were celebrating defeating you guys on the field, but when something like this happens, that win doesn't really mean that much. It puts everything in perspective and makes us realize what the important things in life are. This is the second emotional blow that the High School Football family in Texas has had to endure, the first being Corey. We don't have to understand it, but we do have to deal with it, and go on with our lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and a town in mourning right now. Wish you the best getting through this and God Bless.

Well, I think I can speak for anybody from Ingleside and District 30-3A, for that matter, when I say that our prayers go out to his family and friends.
