a Merkel win over Clyde would put them at 2-2
a Snyder lose to Abilene Wyile puts them at 2-2
Sweetwater is open and faces Merkel to end the regular season.....
who gets in the playoffs if the following happens
Snyder loses to Abilene Wyile Merkel beats Clyde and Sweetwater??

Nice try Curly, put down the "crack pipe" and open a window to let some fresh air in. No way Merkel makes the playoffs. The representation from District 4-3A will be Wylie (District Champs) in division I and Sweetwater and Snyder in division II.

I think Merkel is 0-2 right now. They gave Snyder a heck of a game and I believe they can beat Clyde this week. However, they would also have to upset Sweetwater in the final district game to have a shot at the playoffs.

Most likely will be Wylie, Sweetwater and Snyder....in that order. Had Merkel knocked off Snyder and beat Clyde, they would have been in the playoffs.

Merkel's shot at the playoffs came and went in Snyder. I think they will win over Clyde but not Sweetwater. Wishful thinking that they could pull off an upset not likely. Called outmatched. Not a bad thing, just the truth. We will be there suporting 4-3A playoff teams this year, but will be one of those teams next year.
