The next two weeks in district 5 are sure to be exciting. This is a 5 team district with 4 of the teams ranked in the top 15 in the region. One very good football team will be sitting out the playoffs at home. The 4 teams being Breckenridge, Graham, Iowa Park, and Vernon. This Friday night Graham will travel to Vernon in a battle for first place as each team is undefeated in District. Should be a great game. Also in action this week Iowa Park will play host to cellar dweller WF Hirschi. Breck has the bye. Next week is rather promising as well as Iowa Park will travel to Graham. The other game will see Vernon traveling to Breckenridge. Breck must win this game to have any kind of shot at the playoffs. Luckily they have 2 weeks to prepare due to the bye week. WF Hirschi will have a bye in the final week. Should be an interesting next couple of weeks in North Texas. Anyone looking for good games to watch should consider visiting a 5-3A game.
