District Standings - Region IV

DISTRICT 30-3A

1. Sinton 3-0 / next games vs. Ingleside & Bye
2. Ingleside 2-0/ next games vs. Sinton & Goliad
3. Goliad 1-1/next games vs. Mathis & Ingleside
4. Mathis 0-2/next games vs. Goliad & Aransas Pass
5. Aransas Pass 0-3/next games vs. Bye & Mathis

SO, right now it looks like Sinton will be the DI rep with Ingleside & probably Goliad as the D2 reps. This weeks game against Mathis & Goliad will decide the final spot in our district. I think Goliad can beat Mathis, but Mathis will be fighting for their playoff lives so anything goes. Of course, the big game this week is for the outright district championship. I've gotta go w/ my Pirates.

DISTRICT 29-3A

1. Devine 3-0
2. Crystal City 2-1
3. Hondo 2-1
4. Pearsall 1-2
5. Cotulla 1-2
6. Carrizo Springs 0-3

Can anyone tell us what the projected outlook is?? Will Hondo be the DI rep for this district?

DISTRICT 28-3A

1. La Vernia 3-0
2. Marion 3-0
3. Poteet 2-1
4. Somerset 1-2
5. W. Campus 0-3
6. Lytle 0-3

Looks like La Vernia will be the DI rep. this year, doesn't look like Somerset will make the playoffs this year.

DISTRICT 27-3A

1. Liberty Hill 3-0
2. Wimberley 3-0
3. Llano 1-2
4. Brady 1-2
5. Bandera 1-2
6. Ingram 0-3

Whoa!!! 3 teams with a 1-2 record should make for an interesting finish. :D

I don't have any info for districts 25, 26, 31 & 32. Any fans out there that can post this info? Thanks!

3. Lyford 3-1 La Feria, Hidalgo 4. Raymondville 2-2 Hidalgo, La Feria( lost to Lyford)
5. Rio Hondo 2-3 Port Isabel, Open
6. Hidalgo 1-3 Raymondville, Lyford
7. Progreso 0-5 Open, Port Isabel

La Feria is in line to go D1 if they win out and Lyford has the advantage in a tie with Raymondville.

Columbia is 7-1 (3-0) in district 25-3A

Regarding District 29 AAA the schools rank in order of enrollment as follows: 1. Carrizo Springs 2. Hondo 3. Pearsall 4. Crystal City 5. Devine 6. Cotulla

Based on above projections Hondo would be Division 1. But if Pearsall slips in and Hondo slips out it would be Pearsall. No matter what Devine goes into Division 2 and so does Cotulla if they get in. It doesn't look like Carrizo Springs is not going to get in. It will probably most likely be Sinton vs Hondo in the first week's playoff and if not Hondo then Sinton vs Pearsall. For Sinton to play Crystal City then Hondo and Pearsall have to both be out which doesn't appear likely but you never know. This week's results should let us have a better idea for sure.
