No question.. for us its Cameorn and Rockdale... If Giddings could get close enough to lead for some of the game and be behind Cameron by only 3 then I would love to see what Rockdale is goin to do! I would say us but we play Smithville....uh......... Roll over game! lol neway.. I will be hoping rockdale beats Cameron then we beat Rockdale, so we can all end up in a 3 way tie for district.. might happen might not ya never know! I have see stranger stuff happen around here!:D

Game of the week in our area has to be the La Feria / Lyford game. La Feria got whipped by Lyford last year and it should be pay back this time around. Lyford has to win to make the playoffs. Both teams have one lose.

I think Little Elm @ Decatur will be our area's gotw. You may laugh when you read this, but you may not know that the last two years our closest district games have always been Little Elm. They play us tough every year. This one is for the district championship.

Anybody heard of this game this week, it should be on top of the list. The gobblers are undefeated, going into the game 8-0, 3-0, while the bulldogs have a 2-1 district record. This game will decide not only the district champion, but second and third place playoff spots as well. If Yoakum loses, they will be the third team with Halletsville being the runner-up. If Yoakum wins, there will be a 3-way tie for first place between cuero, yoakum and halletsville, but no matter what, cuero will go D1!

yeah, but if you heard the Channel 3 guys last week, they called this the game of the year in SoTex 3A. I guess the real game of the year in SoTex will come next week as GP faces Calallen in what should give Calallen its first 2 district-loss season in a while. . .

Having seen both teams, I will be surprised - no, SHOCKED! - if it is even a close (<14 pt.) game. I really don't think Silsbee has been given all of the credit they deserve. I look for Silsbee to beat K'ville, Jasper to barely get by Silsbee, and since K'ville pulled out one of those "any given night" games against Jasper, the District will be in a 3-way tie!
