Just curious how many teams are in the playoffs at this point. WOS clinched last night, and it looks like they'll play Huffman in the first round.

Seen the highlights of your game last night, that Beasley kid is awesome, is he a senior?.

Beasley is only a junior. He has been a lot of fun to watch, that's for sure. :)

Liberty Hill & Wimberley have both clinched spots. 3rd is a 3-way tie between Bandera, Brady & Llano.

GS#17, For some reason I thought we would face Silsbee in the first round, but then, I have not looked at the brackets. I am looking forward to post season play to bring up the level of competition. There are a number of great 3A teams across the state, that I would like to see WOS play.

Wilmer Hutchins has at least a share of the 10-3A District; all they have to do is beat Dallas Roosevelt this week to win it outright. This is their first District Championship in 14 years.

How has Ingleside clinched if there could still be a three way tie for second with Mathis and Goliad? its still a possiblity so they havent clinched.:D :D

Ingleside loses its next 2 against Sinton and Goliad (2-2)
Mathis wins its next 2 against Goliad and AP (2-2)
Goliad loses tp Mathis but beats Ingleside (2-2)

Hmmm...... thats a three way tie unless theres some kind of tie breaker Ingleside has won already if that happens.

Maybe there is, but I don't know what it would be. I read it in an article about last night's games.

7-3A

Decatur...

I heard a lot of talk that Bridgeport is in with the LW loss last Friday... I haven't thought about that much yet to figure it all out.

West Orange Stark was 5A once upon a time. I think everyone left town except the football players!

Actually, no one has clinched in our district. It is possible that there could be a four way tie at 3-2 in the district. Now that would mean Decatur losing two in a row, and Lake Worth beating both Bridgeport and Decatur. Little Elm would beat Decatur and lose to Castleberry. Castleberry would beat Ranchview and Little Elm. Then it would go to point spreads. I think Decatur would be in assuming no one beats us by more than 35. It's still possible. Of course Ranchview would be 0-5. Not saying it will happen, just a possibility.

Gilmer clinched Friday night, but the first round opponent depends on week 10, and we have a bye week then. If Mineola beats Gladewater, then Gilmer plays Liberty-Eylau in the first round as the D1 rep. If Gladewater wins, then Gladewater gets LE and we get either Pleasant Grove or Daingerfield (probably Daingerfield assuming we don't lose to Pittsburg next week) in D2. This is all of course assuming that Gladewater beats the Sabine Cardinals next week.

There.....clear as mud!:D

You know, UWBW... I would think it might be interesting to see if Castleberry makes a bid for a spot... They are building a little each week...
