Sinton put in the subs with 7 minutes left in the third quarter and the score was 53-0. Travis Franco scored six touchdowns last week, and followed that up tonight with 17 carries for 137 yds and seven td's.

I heard they reported on the radio show that Sinton had 350 yards of offense in the first half. That's awesome.

What did Mathis have at the half, they didnt have a first down, my guess they had around 30 yards at the half?

Where is the game next week? I'll be in Corpus so I want to make the game if it is halfway close. See what that South Texas football is all about!

The game is in Ingleside, about 12-15 mi. almost due north of Corpus. Go north thru Portland, take the overpass at Gregory and bear right. Goes straight into Ingleside. Stadium is on the right going in.

I heard the radio announcers said they had 20 yds offense and no first downs in the first half. Their initial first down came at 10:47 remaining in the third quarter according to the paper. Sinton responded on the next play with an interception. Three plays later, Franco scored on a 25 yarder. Travis had seven, Collins had one td.

Franco now has 1,248 yds. and 28 or 29 td's on the season.

Great game for THE Pirates!! Here is a link (http://www.caller.com/ccct/high_school_football/article/0,1641,CCCT_11856_3276137,00.html) to the article in the Corpus Christi Caller Times.

Seniors, hope you savored every minute of your last home game. Now get ready for those Mustangs. Noticed alot of 'em over on the visitors side. :D Hope they enjoyed the show. :D

What is with that Fox HS Board show?? No hightlights of #1 Cuero, no highlights of the upsets in Corpus and no highlights of Travis scoring 7 TD's. :hand:

Hey pirate4state I agree with you about Calallen and Flour Bluff. That is probably the biggest upset so far in South Texas football and the surprising thing is that the Corpus Christi Caller/Times only had a small writeup on page 6 of the Sports Section today. I would have thought that would have been at least page 1 of Sports Section with a big writeup. I know they need to get the paper out but I would thought that would have been a hold the press type story. Oh well at least they had the score.

Here's the thing. . . if Calallen or Carroll lose, its played off to a small write up. If GP or Sinton lose, look for it to be on the front page.

Did anyone notice at the game on the other side of the field in the stand all the blue. Coach must of had the whole Ingleside team in the stands watching sinton. Most left during the start of the fourth. Hey guys next time you step onto another field show that you all have some class and treat it like its you own. Several guys throwing there hand in the air as they left the gate at our side, come on. Way to go Sinton good game..

If that is true tap, then they better start getting there heads out of there rear end. I doubt it was the better half of the Mustangs that was doing it, but still. They should have been saying "good game". Ingleside is going to have to bring an A+ game for 4 quarters if they want to keep up with Sinton. I hope they do becuase it will be very interesting.

reading the caller times, they STILL praised calallen in their loss. Can you give the Hornets a little credit. They outplayed the Wildcats and all they get is a 'good win, but look at Michael Price'
