Seminole 44 Monahans 26!

I knew seminole would play some one tough.

How sure are you that this score is right? One time I heard Monahans up 24-6 at halftime and the next time I heard Seminole up 36-8 in the 4th quarter.

Just missed 3-3a scores on local CBS station. Saw that Ft. Stockton beat Lamesa, maybe 21-14(?), but evidently missed the Seminole/Monahans score. What a big win that would be if Seminole did pull it out and it sure makes things interesting in district.

i saw the same. A lot of question marks for the playoff spots. How about Lamesa playing Ft. Stockton tough? Now Seminole & Lamesa have some things to say about the playoffs.

Seminoles victory really just stirred up this district race, if Seminole can beat Ft.Stockton it would secure them a spot and then it would come down to the last week for the last spot between greenwood and monahans, boy thats something else aint it, but I really dont think Seminole will beat the Panthers but you never know untill you play the game.

did not think seminole could stop monahans offense.
knew greenwood would pound pecos.
stockton only had 15 offensive snaps in the second half, thats the way to stop jefferson.(plus stomach flu and missed practice/school most of week). but lamesa can play, 3 yds. (and sometimes 33 yds.) and a cloud of dust.

i have a question say stockton goes 5-0 and clinches the district title. then seminole loses to stockton and beats lamesa. then monahans beats greenwood and pecos. then greenwood loses to monahans and beats lamesa( i think thats who these teams play not sure) so that puts monahans, greenwood, and seminole at 3-2 in district. thats 3 teams with only two spots and each one has wins over the other such as seminole over monahans, greenwood over seminole and monahans over greenwood. who would be the two teams that go to the playoffs? would it be a point system to determine it or what? might not happen but i was just curious on how they would decide this tie breaker

Well say Seminole beats stockton and they win the other game, and Greenwood wins there last 2 there would be the 3 teams 4-1 in disrtict, Greenwood, seminole and stockton.

1) stockton is in, and will play wylie in bi-district.(even if they lose the next 2)
2) power point system(max + or - 14 points max/tie breaker).
right now: seminole 0
greenwood +14
monahans -14

too many scenarios(6), suffice it to say...all you can do is try to win(by atleast 14), and let the chips fall where they may.
If stockton beats seminole it helps monahans and greenwood, well really more greenwood. Bottom line loboes got to win out, remeber seminole/lamesa play week 10(big rivalary), same week rangers/loboes.

Seminole and Stockton should be a great game, i think it will be a high shoot out probably with stockton coming out on top by a few points. So should monahans try to beat Pecos by a big margin or does it matter, well anyhow it looks like this district is going down to the last week to decide the final 2 spots.

I played around with all the possible situations last night and came to this conclusion:

Ft. Stockton will make the playoffs even if they lose their last two games.

Everybody but Pecos still has a shot at the playoffs. But the possibilities are numerous!!!!!!!
