I will try and post about 2 times each quarter. According to the announcers, there is a pretty good wind blowing.

ok...I'll try and give some 'semi play-by-play' ..Jasper had a TD called back because of penalty...they seem to be passing a lot more tonight, at least in the 1st qtr.Jasper driving.....they just completerd a long pass..they are on Coldspring 5 yd line....Jasper scores on 5 yd run...Score is Jasper 15 - Coldspring 8.

Hamshire-Fannett had a 91 yard kickoff return for TD for their second TD. PAT was partially blocked.

So far in the first half, HF has been moving the ball well.

That WOS and HF score is surprising...maybe an upset in the making?..

This could get really ugly. looks like Jasper is trying to take out everything from last week on poor coldspring. And I heard that they would try to air it out more this week. Its good to hear that the ball is flying now. Maybe our playbook will open up a little more down the road. Sic'em Dogs!!

This is sad. I feel so bad for Coldspring seeing as they had to come behind Jasper's game last week.

I take it second string got a lot of play at the end. I think it could have gotten a WHOLE lot worse than that from what I hear.

Yes, and the new "Big Mo" no 45 had a good run toward the end of the game. :)

And Jasper QB Moye was throwing some beautiful, long, on the money passes. One was 60 yards in the air easy. Something for future opponents to think about. :) Who said Jasper is all about the run? :)

Yes they did. It was obvious that Jasper wanted to air it out this game. Moye's passes were so much better than the last time I saw him play. They started to run the clock in the 4th quarter when Jasper kept throwing the ball. I don't think Jasper was trying to run up the score (although I sure Coldspring's fans didn't feel the same way). I think they were trying to work on some new wrinkles in their offense and to rebuild some confidence in their offense after last week.

Asking around at the game I learned that the Adams kid is done for the year (DB/WR) and that Patton (RB/DB) and Weatherspoon (LB/WR) are scheduled to come back for the Silsbee game.

Defense sure looked good against the run tonight. Offense started clicking after the 1st quarter. Still too many balls hitting the turf...but all in all an impressive display for the Dogs...come on dogs!

Thats really good to hear. I still fully expect my dogs to go to the big dance this year.

I felt they looked way better, Moye was throwing some really nice looking deep passes. I think it helped having Ryan Malone and Gilder back in there. I think Jasper will be just fine

Yes, both Malone and Gilder had some great runs and some great catches. :) Things are looking up again in Dog land.

I have no doubt the team will be fine. Last week was a good wake-up call for the team, coaches, and fans. This is virtually still the same cardiac team from last year. I think they thrive when the odds are against them. Don't count us out, yet...
