Pirates finally played the way fans have been to wantin to see em play.Alaniz was 12/15 passin for 243yds.and 3tds.ZERO ints.Salone caught 6 of em for 139 and 2 tds.Bubba Heard ran for 125 and 2tds.Julian Ruiz returned a punt 66yds. for ascore.Defense did their usual job.Allowin about 150 yds. total offense. All in all a strong showin against a team Corpus tv stations said would give Sinton all they could handle.YEA RIGHT!!!!!

I could take a guess which channel said that. Hmmmmmmmmm......Ch6 maybe? Another pearl of wisdom from Mack the "hack"?

Channel 3 also was sayin it.they ain't never been big fans of Sinton any way.But WHOOOOO CARES!!!!!!!

I agree, they're only friends when we win state championships. Art Mack has to be the worst though.

Hey guys yall are so tru no one cares for sinton till we make it all the way to state and then they care for us when there teams get out on the first round of the pay offs...but is ok from my inside info the guys say that coach mitchell is not allowing art mark to come near our school...GO PIRATES!!!srs2003

I can't say that I blame coach Mitchell. Mack is a terrible correspondent. Believe I'd be the same way towards him.

HEy guys, Aaron here. I was just wondering, what do ya'll mean when you say "I can't say that I blame coach Mitchell. Mack is a terrible correspondent. Believe I'd be the same way towards him." I live in San Antonio so I couldnt watch the news, was there something that Mack the Hack said? GIve me details. . .

Art Mack, the sports correspondent for the NBC affiliate in Corpus seems to hate Sinton for some reason. He never has anything good to say about our school. There have been several episodes where he has angered Sinton fans. For instance, when Sinton beat GP for the first time in the history of the school this season, his story had a definite GP slant to it, then just casually mentioned that Sinton won, next subject. Somebody in Sinton may have got him p.o.'d at us at some time in the past, I really don't know for sure. But, he's not welcome on the school grounds anymore.

I know who he is. I grew up in Sinton, graduated, class of 2001. He always hated on us. But i didnt know that he was banned from SHS grounds, serves him right though. .

If I remember correctly, Art Mack also said that we could not beat Bridge City last year in the playoffs.

Art Mack is, in my opinion a bunch of words that would get me banned from this site. So I will hold clinched fists, and not say what i feel. I liek this site too much :-)

As luck would have it only Roland Rodriguez gives us any respect and I say that because he works for Channel 10 and they don't do well against The Blitz & even the Hack's stupid show. I know everyone in Sinton loves Roland...too bad he doesn't work for a different station (or maybe that's a good thing?)

If you take HWY 77 from the Valley and go north, you'll come across Corpus in about 1 & 1/2 hours from Raymondville. Keep going about 15 miles past Corpus on 77 and you come to Sinton.
