Pump your brakes, Speedy! Even if Glen Rose were to defeat Everman, you can still do no better than Co-District "Champs". And if you lose to Everman (most predict that you will), then won't that bounce you right out of the playoffs all together?

Not everyone here is talking about how we are going to kill everman. I know that everman is not scared of us. This will be a good game to see and will be a victory for the tigers. GO GRHS!

I have a 5 dollar bet with a guy at work that Everman will beat them by 40 or more points. :cool:

I believe that Glen Rose will be ready to roll when Everman comes to town. Everman by 40 or more may be a little too confident. The Glen Rose defense didn't seem as tough as I had heard, but their offense is the real deal. I expect Everman to win, but I would take that bet against the points.

Glen Rose played Kennedale's rear off last year, and then got beat 57-0 by Everman. Everman's defense is in much better shape than earlier in the year. This will be the first test since some major changes for the Bulldogs.

State Title and Glenn rose doesn't go well with each other. Glenn Rose will be lucky to win the district titleand thats if you get passed everman

All I have to say is I think it's goin to be a good game. Yeah saying we're goin to state.... that's definately taking it a LIL too far! We need to focus on this game and see if we are goin to even make it to the play offs! Every1 needs to just FOCUS calm down! If we don't, well never beat Everman!!

Glen Rose cannot be happy with this weather. Everman's hits should sting just a little more with the cold and rain. Feaster may not have a good day with this weather (although it was a little windy when they played Kennedale, and he did fine).

It seems to me that the sloppy field is in Glen Rose favor. Might slow down Everman's speed a little.

I didn't notice great team spead with Everman (Tim Jackson is quick). I would think that rain and wind would hurt the Glen Rose passing attack more than Everman's ground game. Everman pounds the ball, they didn't seem to rely on speed in the Kennedale game. They did run some sweeps, but I thought they had more success between the tackles. I would rather run the ball, than throw it when it's pouring rain and windy.

You are probably right at that time. I am thinking you have not seen them play lately. They have different backs, ends, lb's than they did in week 4 and they seem extremely quick to me.

Yes they have had some young sophomores step up in the past few weeks (kinda like last year). This has allowed them move play makers Shamarcus Holloway and Lawrence Alexander to DE. Everman has always to put their defenders at the end, and create a lot of pressure. 3 sophomores start on D now, none of them were around in the kennedale game, they were busy winning the JV game big that week.

I think it will be a high scoring game on both sides of the ball. I still take everman as the winner though.

#22 is glenn burns he reall fast i had the chance with playing him in jr high and high school and he will pop you if you get in the way
