That would be an awesome series b/c the 'Stros have never been & it has been 18 years since the SOX's have been in the big dance.

I hope the Astros win but unfortunately I have to pick the Cardinals because of the home field advantage. This series was decided during the regular season when the Cardinals cinched home field advantage over the Astros. If you look at this series the home team has won every time. Thus it will be in game 7.

How about Tavaraz? Does anybody else think that this guy is insane?? I just watched a interview with him on espn and he was just plain crazy. You couldnt even understand him, it might as well have been jibberish. Anyone else have comments????

yes, i think he's a little off, too...i heard he was fined $10, 000 for throwing at bagwell's head on a 3-0 pitch...i also heard that he might have broken his hand during his little temper-tantrum in the dugout after his melt-down on the mound...i think part of it is his crazy, freddy-krueger look...

They said yesterday that he had broken 2 bones in his left hand. My 10-year old was watching with me yesterday, the sound wasn't turned very loud. He was farther from the tv than I was & thought they said 2 phones in his left hand. He said that didn't make any sense, since there was just one phone in the dugout. LOL

the astros just need to stick to a good gameplan and i have a good one, keep roger in there as long as you can if hes doin good, and then DONT pitch micili, gallo, or springer, and hopefully the offense is knockin the cover off the ball, and biggio needs to step it up cause hes killin the stros by not getting on, because everyone knows who is behind him and what he can do

I was thinking, just a thought that would be nice to see happen. Clements till probably the 6th or 7th, then bring in Oswalt for relief, then close with Lidge. Then start game one of the WS with Backe. Maybe Ill have to wait to see something along those lines.:D

if someone at the bottom of the lineup got on or biggio then the cardinals wouldnt be able to walk beltran and he would go crazy... clemens will be in for about 5 or 6 innings because the astros will have such a huge lead that they'll just save some of his energy for the world series... Im not ready to jump yet. There are still two innings with Oswalt at the helm. If the Stros can get their bats moving, there should be no problem to catch up, its just getting their bats to work right.
