Boone and Alaniz should make great additions to the UT staff. Both had terrific highschool careers.

Looks like Baylor will be the team to beat this year, but Texas will definitly be up there.

Yea Baylor is perdy good also...i think Texas gots it though......i mean if someone left......someone that got a lot of good playing time is there..........Dooley Prince should play a lot more this year...and he is a great addition to the outfield............

um....im pretty sure Baylor didnt loose but a couple players....their whole team is almost back, i know we didnt have the greatest year last year, but our schedule was among the toughest in teh nation and we were some ridiculous number like 10-30 in one run games....

i just looked at the roster...we had 2 seniors last year...im not sure hwo many where drafted but it couldnt have been that many...that 10-30 number is an exaggeration but not too exaggerated...i think the real number is like 7-21

Baylor lost 3 players, all 3 were drafted. One was a JC transfer 1st baseman, he was easily replaced. The other 2 were pitchers that didn't really contribute at all last year. This team is absolutly loaded.

Baylor was 7-15 in one run games last year.

yah...we r loaded but i still think UT will be the team to beat...we may have more talent than them this year, but they won with most of their players last year, while we struggled to be .500 for the first year in forever...so yah i dunno...it will be an interesting baseball season....

Huston's 2 younger brothers will never see the field. That was a favor to Huston & his dad for all they have done for UT. Plus, they are on academic scholarship anyway, just getting a uniform. Texas is always loaded as well they should be.

I bet they see the field when they are Jrs. and Srs.

Nobody noticed... but the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reported that TCU had the number 3 recruiting class in the nation this year.
