Howdy to Gsquared from Scrub Oak! The Fightin' Acorns are primed and ready; honed to a fine edge after two good practice days this week. Our game this week is at home versus Grinder's Switch. We are 2-0 in district and can control our destiny regarding play-off spots. Although we never take anyone for granted, Grinder's Switch is really down this year. They haven't scored in any of their games and have only scored once in their pre-game warm-ups. They do have a real good soccer style placement kicker, but his leg has shriveled up pretty bad from lack of use. Berth Butt, our star middle linebacker, has never been blocked by The Switch since she started playing football against them in the third grade. We look for her dominate their offensive line again this year. I think what really intimidates them more than her size is the fact that she plays the game completely nakid', except for her mouth-piece. She was born with perfect teeth and is really vain about them. She's fairly attractive when she smiles at you with those pretty teeth, even though her mustache takes some of the edge off. Go Acorns, Fight!
