If the Astros go to the world Series and when they would play in etheir New York or Boston who do you DH for the pitcher?

I would even think about Brandon Becke if i didn't have many left!
Guy is an awesome hitter for a pitcher.

Should they get there, regardless of Boston or NY, I'd dance naked in the streets. Not a pretty site.

I'm really a die-hard Boston fan, but I have become a Houston fan over the years. This would be a dream World Series for me.

As long as the EVIL EMPIRE doesn't go, I'd be happy!

lamb always gets hits and when the astros were on their winning streak he was on fire... the astros are on a winning streak now so he should go crazy

rumors? He was playing Sunday in the final inning. Not unless he got hurt in batting practice. I know that his wife just had a baby and he was gone for two days to be with her but he flew back to Houston and played in the final inning of sundays game.

lamb, no question. how valuable is another left handed bat in any lineup? now, if there is a southpaw on the mound, then i would go with either lane or bruntlett. i don't think that either boston or NY have a lefthanded starting pitcher though.

Looks like Lamb is the viewer's choice.

If there is a solid outfielder on the bench, I'd look at Berkman or Biggio. I'd even consider Bagwell, if there is some one else that can play first well.

Naw, you keep Bags at 1st just for his defense. He's still pretty darn good at that. And I don't think you want to change up your outfield much. As DKR used to say, "Dance with the one that brung you."

Most likely Lamb, but they could also play Lane in LF, and DH Biggio.

In the regular season vs American Leauge teams, the Astros used Kent as the DH and they put Eric Bruntly at second base. Most fans wouldn't like this move. I would prefer adding the bat of Lamb or Lane. Lane is better defensively in the outfield than Biggio and Lamb could possibly play any of the infield positions.

Lamb is a better defensive third baseman than Ensberg and the two switched up on the hot corner all the time last year, so they might DH Ensberg and put Lamb out on the field. Ensberg only got in the game last season if he had a hot bat.

Lamb....or like someone said earlier.....Take Biggio out of the field and put Lane out there..........that would be smart...and let Biggio pinch hit..
