before this series all i heard on ESPN and TV was how great the Cards' fans where....how they were the best fans in the National League...I believe this run by the 'stros is showing the nation that Texas isnt just Football country its' sports country period...Or maybe we are just football fans at a baseball game?...who knows?, but 116 decibels at any type of game is ridiculously loud, i cant remember the number, but i think ear drums actually burst at like 160 or so...can we now say that Texas has SOME of the best fans in the nation? I believe so...

Minute Maid Park Capacity: 40,950
In Attendence last night: 43,045

Fenway Park Capacity (Red Sox) :34,898
In Attendence last night: 34,826

Meaning...

Astro Fans - + 2,095

Sox Fans - - 72

Now I know that some fans were from New York/St. Louis etc... but heck, 72 seats in that stadium were empty while 2,095 Astro fans were standing up the whole game without seats...

Eat our shorts, Boston!

kyle field prolly isnt quite as loud because it is outside...not saying that the aggie fans rnt louder but for them to be that loud it would be almost impossible...when ur indoors the sound is magnified...
