This Week's Pick 'em...

Well, as you can see from this week's poll... the Slpybear is allowing his "HOMERism" to come out this one week. I know that by all accounts that the Bulls are expected to not be much of a challenge for the state-contender that is Decatur this year. They are one heck of a team. BUT.... I am going to throw out my home town Bulls anyway.

Now, for something a little different. Because the Bulls will be huge underdogs in the game, I am going to throw out a line on this one... The poll will be the Bulls plus 31 points. If you have seen Decatur's scores lately, you know that this probably isn't enough... but maybe it is enough to make this pick 'em a little more interesting.

The Poll should close on Friday.

Last Week's Pick'em...

Last week we picked Southlake Carrol - Denton Ryan game.... Slpybear attended the game and all I can say is WOW! What an incredible spectactle. That game was like HS Football on major steroids... incredible.

The performance of the poll was also awesome... with our respondants correctly picking the winner (Carrol) by a margin of 52 - 9.... a percentage of 85.2%.

Decatur's victory last week was a 77-0 smashing of Carrolton Ranchview.

The week before it was 44-0 over Castleberry.

It not that Decatur will lose. It is Bridgeport WITH 31 points VS Decatur. Decatur can still win and not cover the spread.

The crazy part about it is that I think the 31 points are probably 20 shy of something that would truly make it interesting...

I don't think anyone doubted Decatur would win. That's why there was a point spread... :nerd:
