haha yea that is true........Texas doesnt have the BEST secondary ever...never have.....except for the good ol' days when Simms and Applewhite were still there and they had Vasher and Babers

benson will run all over tech's defense and get about 5 tds... but UT has absolutely no defense... anthony(name?) harris and derrick johnson are the only decent people.... yeah i know dj is an all american but thats it.... the dbs can not cover and they can not tackle... this game will be like the san jose state-rice game which like u all know ended 70-63 with rice being the loser

This will definately be an offensive game. It will be a shootout until the end, but I give it to Tech. Their offense is just soooo explosive and can hurt you at any time.

Yes i think this is going to be another 3A Downlow WAR! lol....get ready everyone..................Lets say Tech does score all the time....Texas will most likely score atleast every other drive with Benson Running the ball........well not EVERY OTHER but ALOT!...and Mock will throw a couple TD's ....Texas' D dont suck that bad...maybe Secondary but our LB's will put pressure on the QB

the reason i think tech wins is that they are at home. tech is a very different team in lubbock than they are away. they are not a very good road team (remember UNM). but they are really tough in lubbock.

It all depends on which Tech defense wants to show up. The one that did a great job against OU and Nebraska, or the other one. The offense is potent, but when you throw the ball 900 times a game, you've got to make sure you complete more to your team than the other team. UT'll pick it off 5 times and Tech will throw for 5 TDs and Benson will run for 105 yards and a TD. Final score 42-24, Tech.....personally I hope UT wins...that way they'll be ranked higher when A&M beats them:kiss:

Mock can't seem to handle pressure to well, Benson will not have as much as you think. Tech knows what is at hand and know they have a big chance of winning. They almost beat them in Austin. Tech by 14.

I like Tech in this matchup...Tech is almost unstoppable at home, no matter who they're playing, their offense is clicking and can put up big numbers at will. TU is struggling offensively, yes Benson is dangerous with the ball in his hands, but there is zero passing threat, all defensive eyes will be on #32 and will shut his a** down, TU's D is also struggling, good LB's against the run, but we'll see how they can cover. Gig 'em!!!

i dont see how the shorthoens have a chance....tech is averaging 70 pts a game at home this year.....lubbock could be as good a college party town as there is. since it is at least 6 hours to any other place, all of the kids stay there and party hardy.....also, the girls there are the best looking.

If UT gets out and controls the tempo of the game, they stomp Tech. Get two defensive stops early and make it a long game with a steady dose of vitamin-Benson (OK, that was cheesy) on the Tech defense.

CC Calallen, Gregory-Portland, Austin Westlake, and the Woodlands aren't too far behind. But as far as the percentage of good-looking women in the student body (and how hot they are)goes, 2A George West beats them all hands down. Go watch the volleyball team someday. It'll be worth the $.50 admission you pay.

As far as colleges go, anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon line they start getting better, but when you cross that Texas State Line, there's just something about 'em. Maybe it's the water, but whatever it is it works. I'm sure there's a nice little load of women on this site that are lookers.:inlove:
