Who is getting who?

District 5 is shaping up to look like this:

DI - Graham
DII Top Seed - Vernon
DII 2nd Seed - IP

Breckenridge might be the sneaker here. Should know more about them next week. If they lose to Graham that would just about do it for them. They would need help to get in. Vernon should beat Hirschi.

District 6
DI - Gainesville?
DII Top (Pilot Point)???
DII 2nd (Bowie)???

Am I correct on district 6?

Someone from each district give their take on this.

Just want to see some likely scenarios played out on here.

Bowie has won their last game already this year.

They have Sanger, Pilot Point, and Gainesville left.

I can honestly say that Bowie has just moved to that district coming from district 5. In my 28 years Bowie has never gone to the playoffs in football. They have a decent rb and that's about it. Should get smashed in their upcoming games.

Every dog has his day. I bet Bowie will surprise one of those three teams and they make the playoffs. Heard it here first!

Thanks Da Mules for all the work!

Ok here is what it could be so far:

Division I:
1-3a Canyon
2-3a Levelland
3-3a Ft Stockton
4-3a Abilene Wylie
5-3a Graham
6-3a Gainesville
7-3a Decatur
8-3a West

next round: Canyon vs Wylie
Graham vs Decatur

A Wylie - Decatur rematch for the regional championship?

Division II:

District W1- Perryton vs R2 Lubbock Cooper
W3- Monahans vs R4-Snyder
W5- Vernon vs R6- Pilot Point
W7- Bridgeport vs R8- Glen Rose
R1- Borger vs W2- Muleshoe
R3- Greenwood vs W4- Sweetwater
R5- Iowa Park vs W6- Sanger
R7- Little Elm vs W8- Comanche

next round: Perryton vs Snyder
Vernon vs Bridgeport
Muleshoe vs Sweetwater
Iowa Park vs Comanche

next round:
Perryton v. Vernon
Iowa Park v. Sweetwater

regional championship game: Could be a rematch of last year Sweetwater and Perryton. or a rematch of last week Vernon and Iowa Park. Or it could be the surprising Bowie Jackrabbits who didn't make the list that the Z keeps on talking about.

We will have to bring this thread up each week and make adjustments.

You "Easteners" help us out a little bit on district 6, 7, & 8. Other than Decatur, all of those "speculative" picks were made based on other people's short lists. Who else besides Z thinks Bowie has a snowball's chance of making the playoffs?

Earlier, I predicted Decatur and Gilmer would meet in the Region I/II D1 Semifinal. That's assuming that Gladewater doesn't make the playoffs and Gilmer is the D1 school.

Bridgeport W7 and Little Elm R7 seem to be the popular pick... but right now I think Little Elm or Castleberry may both compete for a shot... I think the road is tougher now for the Bullfrogs...
