no need to blow a gasket; this isn't the first time somebody has copied the Harris ratings and had a bunch of gaps.. just wondered how it (the original) filtered out nearly all of the R1 teams

from what I've been told, this Smoaky site is mainly East Texas so that might be why, but I really don't know - read my edited post,, above, which I was making probably as you were typing.. :D

I really don't know,, this is exactly how it is on the site where I got the post. Not sure why the guy won't post the entire list,, seems it would be more trouble to go delete the other Regions out than leave them in...check out the link above and you'll see what I mean.:) HHMM I just checked the link and it didn't work... try this http://www.smoaky.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=25453

For you to buy the Harris rankings -- it is about 6 to 9 dollars a week, depending on what type of organization you are with. Smoaky buys them at probably 50-60 dollars a week just to post East Texas stuff.

If one person could buy them and post them for free, then no one would really want to buy them, would they?

The fact that you are C&P'ing those there MAY consistute a major violation.. as those are meant for Smoaky's readers and when you go on his website, you are paying for those by being exposed to advertising and registering on his website and what not.

I'm not chiding you for this, just letting you know why teams are missing and why it's on his website. He pays for those with advertising revenue for his readers.

On a personal note, Harris rankings, in my opinion, kinda suck and aren't worth buying.. but they do have point spreads and people looooove point spreads.

Our rankings are free and posted in 65 newspapers weekly. You could make porn out of my poll and I wouldn't care.

Thanks Matt, I won't be posting those polls anymore - last thing I need is some kind of lawsuit. :D But by the way, I am not a subcriber to that site so I haven't agreed to anything lol

Per my contract, I'm only allowed to publish the Top 10's, and any school somewhat associated with East Texas.

In Class 5-A, I include the Top 10's, District 12 and 14-5A, and a few schools who the East Texas schools played during non-district...and the Garland schools.
