I don't know where it's gone, but there used to be an awesome website that had every playoff game as far back as the 30's. collier-sharp.com. If you can google it and by some chance find it, that was the best HS football site on the net. Oh, and if anyone comes across it, let me know where it is.

Go to the library and look for :
"Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream" written
by H. G. Bissinger .

If they don't have, you can go to any Wal-Mart and they are selling paperback versions.

If you are talking about the Dallas Carter game. That was ONE year in the 80's that Permian DID NOT GO to State. They played Carter in the Semifinals in Austin in the rain that year.
