I don't believe our district has a game of the week this week.

in 26-3a, yoakum vs. halletsville probably... that will decide 2nd place... luling and the loser of that game will fight for 3rd.... this will also give cuero a better idea of how good yoakum is after playing a similar opponent... cuero is playing gonzales this week but expect cuero to show the state of texas why they are #1... i heard reeve's post game speech friday night and he's pissed off and the players know they are playing like crap and reeve said all thats gonna change next week

In 30-3A, the two teams that don't play Sinton. I think Aransas Pass and Goliad square off. Sinton will wax Mathis and leave the last playoff spot to be sorted out between AP, Mathis and Goliad.

hmm.....would have to be Manor vs. Caldwell. Manor HAS to win if it has any hopes at all to make playoffs and avoid the embarassment to go from #1 in the state to not even making playoffs. But....they face Caldwell who has a decent defense. But.....Manor has an explosive offense at times and a defense like a wet paper sack. Could be high scoring from both teams but I doubt it. Caldwell walks out of this one with a decisive win I think.
Others, Cameron over Giddings, Rockdale over Smithville and Hutto over La Grange. The last game also has a team (hutto) scratching and clawing to make it in this year so they basically have to win out which is a tall order considering they still have Cameron in week 10.

This week its gonna be AP/Goliad for the last spot in the playoffs. IF by chance that Mathis can win out, and Goliad loses their next two, they are in. A VERY complicated District 30 this year.

In district 2-3A: In the black & white corner, weighing in at 6-1 it's da Muleshoe Mules. In the scarlet & black corner, weighing in at 5-2, it's the Lubbock Cooper Pirates. These two heavyweights will be slugging it out for the inside track to a district title and the best playoff slot in the Rilly Big Shew   GO MULES!!

In district 29 it has to be Devine at Hondo. This should determine the district champ.

I'll take Ingleside by penetrations after 5 OTs, in a 0-0 shut out for both teams :D

32-3A.........La Feria at Port Isabel. Both teams 6-1. This will most likely decide the district title.

Hutto blew it, if they beat caldwell they had a great chance to make the playoffs, now they have to win out and that is not going to happen with cameron yet to be played. Another 6-4 year for a talented Hutto team. I could be wrong, but right now that is the most realistic thing for hutto, but i will still route for them the rest of the season.

Yes, Breckenridge at Graham this week is critical for the Bucks. They have to have a win against the Steers or they will end up neededing help to make the dance.

Graham 1-0 (beat Hirschi)
Vernon 1-0 (beat IP)
Iowa Park 1-1 (beat Breck)
Breckenridge 1-1 (beat Hirschi)
Hirschi 0-2 (beating themselves every week)
