Jasper rumors

I heard there were a number of the Jasper players that have been suspended, for some reason, and did not suit out last night. Does anyone have any information on this?

Yeah what I've heard is that Jasper is looking for any excuse for why they lost to Kirbyville

Not to take anything away from Kirbyville, who must be riding high today after the big upset, but IS there any truth to this rumor? It's making the rounds in SE Texas, and if there's any truth to it, then this could not only affect the race in Jasper's district, but also the entire Region III playoff bracket (since Jasper's been projected to win it all since this summer).

Anybody "in the know" on this one? Please don't just throw out more rumors you've heard.

There was a suspension and quite many of jasper players did not play because of it, but i'll let ya'll figure out why they were suspended.

all kirbyville has to do is just prove that we can beat silsbee in 2weeks and then we can tell if those jasper excuses were REALLY true .

Probably back in the day of Butch Hadnot. They aren't winning it this year though. It will either be Silsbee or a 3 way tie for first amongst the "big 3".

When we got their all of the ones that we scouted were there.

I just asked a question about a rumor. Since then, from the information I received, I think it was all rumor. I put this upset along side the Marlin/Ennis upset a couple of years ago.

Yes it was just a rumor there were no suspensions just players lost due to grades and injuries.

Also no excuses kville kicked our butts.

If you look at the first two posts on this thread, Xman was asking about the validity of some rumors he heard. In the very next reply a K-ville fan speaks of how Jasper was looking for an excuse. Point being, he was demonstrating the absurdity of Jasper fans being made to look like they were concocting excuses when the comment came from a person from Orange. I think that's about the jist of it.

Hey Spivey what does the air capital of the world mean? I mean do yall have more air up there or what? I have been curious about that for awhile now.

We have 4 aircraft manufacturers here. Boeing, Cessna, Raytheon (formerly Beech), and Bombardier (Lear). Also, Airbus has no manufacturing here, but they do have an engineering office. Additionally, we have McConnell AFB here. Thus, Wichita touts itself as the "Air Capital of the World".
